Hello my friends, how are you today? Emma Farrarons, friend of mine, kindly invited me to the Private View of her exhibition and collaboration with Sadif of Fika London Bar and Kitchen in Shoredtich. The exhibition was centered around Scandinavian Folklore. The style of Emma’s work suits the branding and the style of Fika London Bar and Kitchen.

Beetroot cake and white wine. I think it’s beetroot…

The restaurant and bar was very intimate and cosy and the party was happening upstairs on the rooftop. I loved the vines and flowers displayed on the bar. The weather is just lovely and warm, I made new friends, chatted to really lovely and interesting people; it was the perfect atmosphere.

Also, I was nice to catch up with friends and illustrators, Emma Block Lorna Scobie, Kasia Dudziuk and Tor Freeman. It’s nice to come together with like-minded creatives and just hang out and have a laugh.

Emma Farrarons Illustration My personal favourites was the Scandinavian Folklore Map and the Typography of “Hidden Folk.” It was so busy! I’ll have to come back again for a closer look at the art with my husband and try out the food.

The Exhibition is on until Wed 1st October 2014, 11:00pm
Fika Bar & Kitchen, 161 Brick Lane, E1 6SB
